Q/A RINDON JOHNSON
What lies beyond the art market?
“Another way to ask these questions: how might we make a fugitive piece of art – one whose existence destroys the realm in which it exists? When I say fugitive, I mean it as an adjective which means “having fled, having taken flight”. To get to the other side of the market, maybe we must make something that appears to exist where it is situated, but upon closer inspection, theoretical or otherwise, it takes flight.”
