How much more can be said about the current Covid crisis, other than that it’s very likely we humans put ourselves in this mess? In the Peruvian rain forest, the so-called Bat People hold to an animistic belief that sickness is actually a form of vengeance taken upon us when we kill too much. A cure means fixing the imbalance between humans and non-humans; science apparently agrees.
