"Bender’s opening credits ran for only the first nine of twenty-five seasons, though their aesthetic continued to influence the sequence for the duration of AMW’s  run. A jittery alternation of found footage and technological interfaces, with looped sequences and brisk cross-bleeds, the credits bear all the hallmarks of Bender’s editing style, deployed in artworks like her monumental multimonitor installation Total Recall (1987). But the AMW  sequence accelerates these operations, warping their disruptive, shattered aesthetic into a coercive freshet."
