“A while ago I posted an email on Instagram that one of my directors received because it was so extraordinary. A collector had written to us out of the blue and said she was looking for works by white male artists. When we asked her to tell us a little bit about more about her collection, she replied, “I mostly support white male artists as they are more present and valued in the art market.” We thought it was a joke.”
