Spaces to watch
When do you finish work?
Hard to say, Sundays? But not this Sunday because I'm answering these Q's! Sometimes my most productive thoughts are when I'm totally exhausted and overworked. When suddenly many things converge.
Who is your favourite composer?
What's on show now at your gallery?
Today I'll deinstall Priscilla Tea and start installing work for the evolving program #WEC which I've been working on in collaboration with artist Ella Görner. The first event was on Saturday the 11th with a talk from Alessandro Bava and Q&A from Anke von der Heide. We'll be exhibiting work by Carson Fisk-Vittori, Tue Greenfort, Joey Holder, Daniel Keller, Marjetica Potrč and others TBA. Aaron Graham has the current exhibition on room.thecomposingrooms.com and is also included in #WEC.
What are you most looking forward to in the summer of 2015?
Mainly the sun! But also potentially working on a project with a collective called ebaE, and starting to publish e-publications with Version House :D
Who are three artists to watch?
"To watch" I feel suggests to speculate on. And given I've exhibited several artists in the past who's prices have sky-rocketed since, Petra Cortright, Jon Rafman and Kate Steciw to name three, I feel quite some pressure about this question. I'm still watching them and very fascinated about what they are going to do in the future. However if you're looking for names to speculate on then I remind you to consider this 2-3 year trend. I tend to want to work with artists who seem to be pushing things forward.
