The Rise and Fall of the Concept Store

When the world’s most famous concept store, Colette in Paris, closed 2017, it spelled the end for curated shopping, that had begun the 1990s. Today, concept stores are more like “platforms”, which let brands take centre stage – as long as they’re cool enough.
