"Most art being made can be divided into two categories. The first has a passively angry stance against those who would question “What is art?” It can be easily found, quietly receding, mistaking art for something static instead of the moving target that it is. The second is art that does ask this question. You will often nd it trying to activate existing limitations, questioning conventional wisdom, and calling on the dynamics of engagement in order to move conversations. To be sure, you won’t nd much of the first category in this magazine, more is possible to do with it."
